The Pro Coach Process | |||||
| Using a combination of skills, Pro-Coach will assist you to select the topic or areas of coaching you require, however Pro-Coach will agree detailed objectives and milestones. In addition, Pro-Coach will actively encourage you to link these issues to measurable business improvements ie increase in sales volume, repeat business, order size, reduction in returns, complaints, cost reduction, new market development or the development of new clients.
To ensure that the coaching sessions are always effective and provide the most fertile environment for both client and coach, you will always be sent details of the key objectives you agree during your session, this ensures that you are always in control and focussed on the key issues. Further, this helps Pro-Coach to combine the experience of other team members on more complex issues. The coaching engagement has 3 phases: Phase 1 The Coach and the individual have an initial discussion to ensure that they can work together, to establish how the individual builds on their strengths and to agree dates and times for following meetings. In addition, this phase involves assessing the client's buisness and leadership challenges including motives, values, concerns, self-image and level of awareness. The key question: What do you need to change? Phase 2 The client and coach will then decide together on the methods they will apply to improve the client's leadership capability and the performance measures they'll use to assess the client's progress. the coaching relationship becomes an arena for practicing the desired behaviours and integrating new ideas with existing strengths. The key question: How do you go about changing? Phase 3 In Phase 3, the coach seeks to embed the new leadership behaviours, highlighting their impact on the organisation and integrating them into your day-to-day responsibilities. The key question: How do we make the learning stick? |
